Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Nations Best Home Inspections (“Nations Best,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides residential and commercial property inspection services in Celina, Texas and the surrounding North Texas area. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

It applies to nationsbesthomeinspections.com, our online booking and client portal at go.nationsbesthomeinspections.com, our phone, text and email communications, and the inspection services we perform (together, the “Services”).

The short version. We collect what we need to schedule your inspection, inspect the property, deliver your report and get paid. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number with anyone for their own marketing. We share your inspection report only with you and with the people you tell us to send it to. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and booking details — your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the address of the property to be inspected.
  • Transaction details — the inspection type and add-on services you select, appointment date and time, closing or option-period dates, access instructions, and the name of your real estate agent, builder or attorney if you give it to us.
  • Payment information — we use a third-party payment processor. Card numbers are entered directly with that processor and are not stored on our systems. We retain only the amount, date, payment method type and confirmation reference.
  • Messages you send us — the content of emails, text messages, chat-widget conversations, contact-form submissions and voicemails, including anything you choose to include in them.
  • Reviews and testimonials — if you leave a review or agree to be quoted, the name and content you provide.

Information we collect at the property

  • Inspection findings — observations, measurements, readings and test results about the property’s condition.
  • Photographs and video — images of the property, its systems and components, taken to document our findings and included in your report.
  • Site details — occupancy status, utility status, access method and similar operational notes.

We photograph the property, not people. If a person appears incidentally in a documentation photograph, tell us and we will remove or crop the image.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our providers collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, the links you click, and the dates and times of those actions. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.

Information from other people

We may receive your details from a real estate agent, builder, lender, relocation company or family member who arranges an inspection on your behalf, and from public sources such as county appraisal district records and listing data used to prepare a quote or identify the property.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • quote, schedule, confirm, reschedule and perform inspections;
  • prepare and deliver your inspection report and any supporting documents;
  • collect payment and maintain our financial and business records;
  • answer your questions about the property or the report, before and after the inspection;
  • send appointment confirmations, reminders and report-delivery notices;
  • send you information about our services where you have asked to receive it, or where the law otherwise permits it;
  • request and publish reviews, with your permission;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and booking system;
  • understand, in aggregate, which pages and advertisements bring people to us;
  • meet our legal, licensing, insurance, tax and record-keeping obligations as an inspector licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and respond to a complaint, subpoena or regulatory inquiry.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

3. Text messages (SMS)

We use text messaging to confirm appointments, send reminders, share arrival times, deliver reports and answer questions. You consent to receive these messages when you give us your mobile number in a form, at booking, or by texting us first.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number, and your consent to be texted, are used only to communicate with you about our Services. The providers who deliver these messages on our behalf may access your number solely to transmit them, and for no other purpose.

  • Message frequency varies with your appointment activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in Section 14.
  • Opting out of texts does not cancel your inspection. We will contact you by phone or email instead.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Phone calls

Calls to and from our published numbers may be recorded, monitored or transcribed so that we have an accurate record of scheduling details, property access arrangements and any commitments made. Where a recording is being made, you will be notified at the start of the call. If you prefer not to be recorded, tell us and we will continue the conversation by email or text.

5. Cookies and analytics

Providers acting on our behalf are permitted to use your information only to deliver their service to us, and not for their own purposes.

7. Your inspection report

Your inspection report is prepared for you, the client named on it. We treat it as confidential.

  • We release it to you, and to anyone you authorise — by email, text or in the booking form.
  • Naming an agent, transaction coordinator or attorney at booking is treated as your authorisation to copy them.
  • We do not give your report to the seller, the seller’s agent, a builder or any other party unless you tell us to, or unless we are legally required to produce it.
  • We keep a copy in our own records — see Section 8.
  • We may use de-identified photographs and findings, with identifying details removed, for training, quality control and illustrative examples.

8. How long we keep information

We keep inspection reports, photographs, agreements and the records supporting them for the period required by the Texas Real Estate Commission and by applicable Texas law, and for as long as we may need them to respond to a question, complaint or legal claim about the inspection. Financial records are kept for the period required by tax law. Website analytics data is kept in aggregate on the retention schedule set in Google Analytics. Marketing contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them.

9. How we protect information

We use access controls, account passwords, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for our website and portal, and reputable providers with their own security programs. Field devices used to capture inspection data are password-protected. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by Texas law.

10. Your choices and rights

Whichever state you live in, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm and access — tell you whether we hold personal information about you, and give you a copy;
  • Correct — fix information that is inaccurate;
  • Delete — erase information we no longer need to keep;
  • Opt out — stop marketing email, stop texts, or opt out of targeted advertising;
  • Restrict use of the report — withdraw an authorisation to share your report with someone.

Texas residents have rights of this kind under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have comparable rights under their own laws. We extend the same treatment to everyone who asks, regardless of where they live.

How to make a request. Email owner@nationsbestinspections.com or call 972-590-8719 and tell us what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details of the inspection — and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need longer. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

What we cannot delete. We must retain inspection records for the period required by our licence and by law, and we may keep information needed to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, or comply with a legal obligation. If we decline a request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision by replying to our response; we will review the appeal and give you a written explanation.

11. Children’s privacy

Our Services are for adults arranging property inspections. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

Our site links to other organisations — review platforms, warranty providers, social media and industry bodies. Once you leave our site, that organisation’s own privacy policy governs. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use our Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
